Ultra Poor programme is renamed as Buniad started in 2006 to address hardcore and home less people for providing them a sustainable livelihood by enhancing their knowledge, skill and financial competencies through providing counseling and micro credit support. Under this programme , BASA also assists physically disabled people in building a platform for running their IGAs and provide access to whole-sellers and retailers to whom their products can be sold.
Since inception USD. 1.22 million has been disbursed among 16433 members. During this year a total of Usd. 1.73 lac. has been disbursed to carry out their small IGAs. Members of this programme have deposited USD. 3.86 million as savings.
